 Fulfilment Handling and Delivery Solutions CompanyRan a waste reduction programme that delivered £200k savings annually on £5.0miilion turnover

 Bakery and Catering Maintenance Company –  Initiated a waste reduction exercise saving an expected £320,000 in a full year.  With teams of senior and junior management Peter facilitated a structured exercise over a 8 week period to identify areas of potential waste and develop ways of reducing the waste and improving efficiency.  Azure’s client, a maintenance company with 40 customer facing engineers, was both surprised and pleased at the level of waste reduction achieved.  The client was both surprised and pleased at the level of waste reduction achieved.

 Leaders of Worship and Preachers Trust (LWPT -Not for Profit)Mar 09 –Ongoing

Working with the board, this project developed the Charity’s first ever business plan and ongoing support in implementation.   This was followed by a project to develop a business plan for the 4 Care Homes (LWPHomes).  The core objective being to ensure the homes became financially independent of the Charity successfully achieved.

 Reporting to the Managing Director this interim change management role as Assistant Director Planning – The Good Childhood Launch programme managed the planning and launch of a major shift in the positioning of the Society.  This assignment encompassed the strategic through to the tactical and covered not only the launch but also developing a promotional plan and planning development kit for the following 12 months.

 Age Concern Enterprises Limited (ACEnt) is the trading subsidiary of the Charity Age Concern. ACEnt has 1,000,000 customers and delivers a net profit of just under £20 million.  It is a commercial organisation that provides products and services for older people (50+) and all the profits created are covenanted to the charity to support its works.  ACEnt operates in 5 business areas; Insurance, Funeral Plans, Utilities, Financial Services and Aid-Call (domestic and commercial emergency alarm systems).  

 BRITISH GAS TRADING – Head of Marketing 1994 – 98

£6.0 billion turnover gas supply to 19 million domestic, commercial and industrial customers.  Reporting to a Director/The Managing Director, the role’s mission was change management, to create and implement all aspects of External and Internal Marketing, Database and Research to enable success in the deregulated market.  Core Achievements were the retention of 75% market share and the high successful launch of the Goldfish Credit Card.
