  • 1972: Degree in Economics and Statistics from Southampton University
  • Joined Procter and Gamble as a Salesman and then moved into Marketing
  • 1977 – 84: Product and Marketing Management with Bacofoil, Smiths Crisps and Magimix Food Processors
  • 1984 -90 Director of Marketing at Diners Club International followed by Access the Joint Credit Card Customer
  • 1990 -91Further international experience with TNT Express Worldwide based in the Netherlands
  • 1994 -98: Recruited and developed a completely new marketing department for British Gas when the company was restructured prior to the market being deregulated and prepared the company for the competitive market
  • 1999 2004: Age Concern Enterprises Ltd where following the development and launch of a highly successful utilities package became responsible for marketing and strategic development
  • 2004-07: THOR International Ltd
