- 1999 - 2004: Age Concern Enterprises Ltd where following the development and launch of a highly successful utilities package took responsible for marketing and strategic development.
- 1994 -98: Recruited and developed a completely new marketing department for British Gas when the company was restructured prior to the market being deregulated, and prepared the company for the competitive market retaining a 75% share.
- 1990 -91: International experience with TNT Express Worldwide based in the Netherlands.
- 1984 -90: Director of Marketing at Diners Club International followed by Access the Joint Credit Card Company.
- 1977 -84: Product and Marketing Management with Bacofoil, Smiths Crisps and Magimix Food Processors.
- Joined Procter and Gamble as a Salesman and then moved into Marketing.
- 1972: Degree in Economics and Statistics from Southampton University.
