- The Good Childhood - searching for values in a competitive age; reporting to the Chief Executive of The Children's Society, I managed the planning and launch of a major shift in the positioning of the Society. This assignment encompassed the strategic through to the tactical and covered not only the launch but also developing the promotional plan and planning development kit for the following 12 months.
- Repositioned THOR International from being a 'supplier of medical hardware' to a 'medical outcomes' based company, and launched industry segment specific packages, with unique treatment protocols, enabling the Company to access the market as it transitioned from early adopter to mainstream.
- The creation and launch of the highly successful utility package designed to better satisfy the needs of older customer at Age Concern Enterprises Ltd.
- Identified the opportunity to launch Goldfish, the first credit card to offer money off essential items (e.g.the gas bill) at British Gas.
- The launch of the world's first ever Loyalty Points Scheme at Diners Club UK. The scheme achieved an immediate doubling of annual expenditure by shifting usage from competitive cards.
- In the highly competitive £100 million Crisps market Smith needed new products to achieve growth. Developed and launched Square Crisps and Crinkle Cut Crisps through test markets to national launch supported by award winning advertising.
- Development and successful launch of a complete range of freezer products for Bacofoil Ltd. This protected distribution of the main revenue and profit earners in the major retail outlets.
- Introduction of Bold to the launderette market after analysis demonstrated the shift from top loading machines with a chemical wash to front loaders with a mechanical wash requiring a low lather product.
